Winter here is a time of isolation and reflection. Some people find this time peaceful and relaxing, others are as anxious as a trapped animal. As an artist I this is an ideal time to paint, spending hours in my studio with the fireplace burning and music playing.
This black and white watercolor is the largest of a set of three which include “A Long Way Home” and “Frozen Rest”.
