This loose-style watercolor is a celebration of color and design. The simplicity of composition is contrasted by the busy texture of small flowers growing along a split rail fence along Route 37 between Ogdensburg and Morristown. The title is often a point of curiosity. This flower blooms a brilliant tint of magenta until the first frost of fall when they lose all their color and turn white for the last week or two before succumbing to a wintery grave.
