The warmth of the day escapes the earth as night descends on the land. The heavy damp end of November evening, rising mist as the land gives up its last warmth. As winters icy fingers dig in, scruffs of snow like torn paper shapes are scattered across the rocky ragged farmland. Looming in the steel blue gray sky is a tribute to the hard life of the early dairy farmer of Northern New York.
