I can remember as a small boy pouring water on the ground and being fascinated by the way gravity would move it along in snakelike shapes.
Sixty plus years later, I am still fascinated by falling water. Whenever I travel I seek it out, sometimes hiking miles to see a waterfall. This oil painting represents the upper part of an energetic cascade that I found in the Albany, NY area.
