It is hard to think of Key West and not imagine bright colors, maybe it’s the tropical climate or sun drenched aqua waters. Or is it that internal glow that people get when arriving from the white frozen north? I’m not sure but it’s hard not to smile when I’m here.
This is a painting of the schooner “Liberty” an 80 foot tall ship that makes port in Key West in the winter and Boston in summer. Seen here in Key West on a return trip from a sunset cruise, silhouetted against a blazing sky of exploding colors.
