A once rare sight, the Blue Heron is now a regular summer visitor throughout the St. Lawrence Valley. Through conservation efforts, the Great Blue has propagated and its numbers have soared. With its ancient large size and dinosaur like design, the Ardea Herodias is always an awesome sight when spotted fishing off a shallow point or soaring overhead.
