“A dream is like a river, ever changing as it flows: and the dreamer’s just a vessel that must follow where it goes.”
What dreams we live, what fascination we have in the meloncholy. Rising like a tombstone above the Thousand Island landscape is Boldt Castle, a bitter sweet testimony to life’s twists of fate. Trapped deep within its cold stone walls is felt the folly of mans’ immortality as their dreams, resolved by time, have drifted away like smoke over water. Ironically, this original water color painting was destroyed in a fire in 1992.
