Reproduced from an acrylic painting commissioned by St. Lawrence Explosives. This is the final painting in a series of four works that were used for a calendarnder image and limited edition print. All four paintings; “Gobbler Run”, “Spirit of the North”, “Misty Morn” and “Treasure of the North” were set along the waterway of Barney Pond and the stream that flows from there making its way into Cold Brook which connects with the Racquette River in the Adirondack Park.

The Bald Eagle has been on the increase in Northern New York over the past few years.
